Summer Fun At Crimson Resort & Spa Cebu

I can’t believe I waited this long to explore Cebu City! It’s beautiful!

My first time to visit the Queen City of the South turned out to be amazing. We went to various landmarks, but for the most part, we stayed at the Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. You can’t blame us for wanting to stay put – the resort was breathtaking!

This award-winning beach destination is just a 20-minute ride from the international airport. It boasts of their 40 expansive villas, 250 guest rooms, and a magnificent infinity pool.

Let me give you an idea of our wonderful experience…

As you enter the resort, you will be welcomed by a stunning view of their infinity pool stretching towards the horizon. It’s so enticing, it just makes you want to forget all the problems at work and just dive in to this blue basin of tranquility.

Side note: I’m a full-time mom, so I don’t really have work-related problems. Hindi rin ako marunong lumangoy kaya hindi ako makaka-dive sa pool. Hahaha! But you know what I mean…

The Indoors

We booked the Deluxe Room with twin beds. The room’s ambiance was a classic warm concept as it is furnished with white linens and Maplewood. However, it also has modern elements like rain shower en suite, plush hot tub, HD television, and high-speed WiFi access.

My favorite part was the rain shower. I could just stay there all day! It takes me back to when I was a little girl, enjoying the downpour as I play with my friends on the street.

The beds are so comfortable! Add in air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, and cable TV. Kung hindi lang ako excited to go swimming, hindi na ako lalabas ng kwarto.

You get complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea. For me, just the fact that there’s an electric kettle is already a delight. Kasi kung close tayo, alam mo na lagi akong nagbabaon ng hot chocolate sa mga getaways kaya mainit na tubig na lang ang kulang. Tipid na, masarap pa!

You’ll find the toiletries in the bathroom – toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body gel, and lotion.

Complimentary treats, sodas, and beer will be waiting for you inside the chiller.

The Outdoors

As you step out of your room, you’ll be awed by an abundance of green hues everywhere. There are also touches of bright reds, pinks, yellows, oranges, and purples. The contrasting colors of the garden are a delight to the eyes. See for yourself!

Chillin’ by the pool after a heavy breakfast. Whew! I was stuffed.

Medyo hirap sa pagpulot ng dahon, besh? It’s because she doesn’t want to step on the grass. Hahaha! Ewan ko ba, ayaw nya lang siguro ng feeling ng grass kasi sanay sya indoors. That has to change.

She does this all the time. When something or someone scares her, she’ll run towards me to hide her face. I find it really cute!

Mommy Krystal: Uy magandang gawing background ito ah. Rigel, come here!

Walking hand-in-hand with her Momma. Pero syempre lilingon pa rin sya kasi baka hindi sumusunod si Mommy. Mahirap na! Hahaha!

The Pool

The infinity pool at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan guarantees a front-row seat to the famed Mactan waters. It’s the perfect spot for a fun play time with your little ones. And when the kids are taking a nap or are already tucked in for the night, you can have a romantic alone time – think drinks, stars, and sea.

This was taken the next morning right before breakfast. Rigel is upset because she wants to swim already, but mommy says no. Hahaha!

How amazing is this view?

Yes, Rigel is a Certified Daddy’s Girl.

Aaww.. I will treasure the moments when she clings on to me. Kasi pag teenager na sya at may barkada na… nako!!!

I was going for a beautiful mother-and-daughter picture but Rigel has something else in mind.

Someone is clearly having too much fun! And like any other beauty queen to-be, she covers her mouth when she laughs.

Sorry, pero kailangan kong gawin ang “buntis na nakahawak sa puno” pose on behalf of all the pregnant mommas around the world.

And I’m so inggit with this “nakadapa sa tubig” picture of my sister-in-law. I was going to do the nakatihaya version of this but the lifeguard quickly blew his whistle at me. Ang bagal ko kasi! Damn you, pregnancy weight gain. Lol!
